Katie Shelley

Katie Shelley (she/her) is the Toledo Museum of Art’s Conda Family Manager of Access Initiatives. As a person with a physical disability, her interest in accessibility has shaped her life. She holds a Master’s in Liberal Studies (Disability Studies) from the University of Toledo, a Master of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Michigan University. Katie is dedicated to making TMA a model of accessibility. She is a member of the Ohio Statewide Independent Living Council, a Board Member and Mentor for Disability EmpowHer Network, and served as an adjunct instructor for the University of Toledo’s Disability Studies Program.
